Bahrain Chamber, BJA honor participants in "Economic Media Enhancement Program"

The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Bahrain Journalists Association (BJA), organized an honoring ceremony for the participants in the "Economic Media Enhancement Program."

Speaking at the ceremony, the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Sameer Nass, expressed gratitude to the journalists for their pioneering and recognized role in supporting and sustaining the national economy. He praised their efforts in providing a true and transparent picture of the economic situation, as well as addressing all issues and topics that serve the private sector through constructive criticism of the difficulties and ways to address them. Nass also expressed his appreciation to the Bahrain Journalists Association for its continuous cooperation with the Chamber in the field of training.

For his part, BJA's Vice Chairman, Abdulrahman Al Medfaa, emphasized the importance of the leading commercial sector's role in supporting the journalistic movement witnessed in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the context of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty the King, with the support of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He lauded the Bahrain Chamber for its continuous support for the efforts of the Bahrain Journalists Association, in implementation of the agreement signed between the two sides.

The program coincided with the selection of Manama as the Arab Media Capital for the year 2024 and Bahraini Journalism Day. It aimed to develop the skills of journalists in the field of economic journalism, train them on analyzing economic data and preparing economic reports, and assist them in creating impactful economic news stories that inform and engage the public.
