The session featured a presentation by the General Directorate of Traffic Directorate, where various traffic violations and accidents were highlighted, as well as common unsafe behaviors exhibited by drivers of trucks and heavy vehicles.
Speaking at the seminar, vice-Treasurer of the Bahrain Chamber Waleed Kanoo, emphasized that the seminar reflects the Chamber's keenness on raising the awareness of the private sector, and its commitment to enhancing communication channels between its members and institutions in both the public and private sectors.
For his part, head of the Chamber’s Transportation and Logistics Committee, Jassim Al Musawi, noted that organizing such events aims to exchange ideas that contribute to raising awareness and promoting a culture of safety in all forms of transport. He highlighted the significance of these initiatives in uniting efforts and intensifying joint work to develop the land transport sector.
