Bahrain Chamber receives a Thai delegation, and probes opportunities in the health sector

The regulatory framework and favorable business environment in Bahrain were hailed during a meeting that was held on the 20th July 2022 at the Bahrain Chamber’s premises between a Thai delegation spearheaded by the Thai ambassador to Bahrain H.E Piyapak Sricharoen and officials at the Bahrain Chamber headed by Chairman Sameer Nass.

The delegation, which comprised of representatives of KKC Clinic and Panacea Hospital, expressed keenness in investing in Bahrain and partnering with local investors. They commended the advanced regulatory framework in Bahrain, the fertile business environment, and the favorable business and investment laws. The delegation also spoke about the advancement of the medical sector in Thailand, particularly in disciplines including holistic aesthetics, anti-aging treatments, and alternative medicine.

Mr. Nass expressed during the meeting his pride in the vigorous cooperation between Bahrain and Thailand across all fields, he pointed out investment and partnership potentials in health tourism and the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Nass highlighted the relatively low cost of setting up a business, Bahrain’s strategic location and access to neighboring markets, its advanced infrastructure, and skilled workforce.
