The meeting hailed the strong bilateral relation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Thailand, underpinned by strong connections of friendship, understanding, and common interests. It discussed the existing trade between both countries, which exceeded 384.5 million US dollars in 2024, stressing on the importance of exploiting the promising opportunities in the food, medical, hospitality, and real estate sectors.
It is worth noting that a Thai business delegation will be visiting the Chamber on April 20th 2025, to meet with their Bahraini counterparts, build partnerships, and explore business opportunities.
Also present at the meeting were Bahrain Chamber’s Second vice-Chairman Mohammed Al Kooheji, treasurer Aref Hejris, vice-treasurer Waleed Kanoo, bureau member Basim Al Saie, board members Yousif Salahuddin and Yaqoob Al Awadhi, and Chief Executive Officer Atef Al Khaja.
