During the meeting, Najibi highlighted the importance of strengthening the bilateral relations between both Chambers, stressing that enhanced collaboration would not only foster economic growth for both countries but also pave the way for greater regional integration and open doors for joint investments across diverse sectors.
Highlighting the trade volume between Bahrain and Oman, which reached $226 million in the first half of 2024, Najibi reaffirmed the Bahrain Chamber’s commitment to further boosting investments, particularly in commerce and trade. He noted that the Chamber is actively pursuing new avenues for cooperation between the private sectors of both countries, including the promotion of trade missions and initiatives to increase bilateral trade.
Also present at the meeting, were Bahrain’s Ambassador to Oman, Dr. Juma Al Kaabi, and Bahrain Chamber Board Members Mr. Nawaf Al Zayani and Ms. Sawsan Abualhasan.
