The meeting hailed the bilateral relation between Bahrain and Serbia, based on friendship, respect and understanding. It touched pace on trade relation and ways to invigorate trade volume to meet the aspirations of both business communities.
Speaking at the meeting Nass provided a brief on the Chamber’s history and its role in Bahrain’s economic landscape. He expressed the Chamber’s keenness on establishing relations with its Serbian counterpart, which will serve streamlining trade and encouraging liaison between both business communities.
For her part, Serbian ambassador spoke about urban development in her country and promising sectors, key among which the pharmaceuticals, food, ICT, and Artificial Intelligence. She voiced keenness on activating MoUs and agreements signed between both sides as well as exchanging delegations, which will serve bolster business ties for the mutual benefit of both countries.
Also present at the meeting were Bahrain Chamber’s Second vice-Chairman Mohammed Al Kooheji, vice-treasurer Waleed Kanoo, bureau member Basim Al Saie, board members Yousif Salahuddin and Yaqoob Al Awadhi, and Chief Executive Officer Atef Al Khaja.
