Bahrain to enhances trade with Kazakhstan

Chief Executive Officer of the Bahrain Chamber, Atef Al Khaja received at his office on Monday 27th January 2025 the Consul General of Kazakhstan to Bahrain, Babar Daurenbek.

Al-Khaja emphasized the chamber's commitment to enhancing and expanding its global trade relations, noting that this cooperation aligns with its strategy to facilitate the entry of Bahraini companies into new markets and explore opportunities that contribute to sustainable development for both countries.

The meeting reviewed ways to enhance cooperation in the agriculture and mining sectors, which are among the key areas that could achieve strategic mutual interests between the two countries. Emphasis was placed on the potential for establishing effective economic partnerships that contribute to sustainable growth and enhance food security through the exchange of expertise and innovation in these fields.

For his part Daurenbek praised Bahrain's significant economic standing, considering it an important center in banking and finance. He regarded Bahrain as a potential strong partner for the Republic of Kazakhstan and appreciated the efforts of the Bahrain Chamber in facilitating cooperation between Bahraini companies and their Kazakh counterparts.
