Speaking at the meeting, Nass emphasized the significance of Tamkeen's ongoing efforts to support Bahraini enterprises and citizens to be the main engine of the economy in the kingdom, through a range of support initiatives that aid in the establishment of new ventures and the sustainability of existing ones, facilitated by skilled Bahraini professionals. He added that the Chamber's directions align with Tamkeen's programs aimed at strengthening the Bahraini economy and overcome any obstacles to foster development across all sectors.
For her part, Mofeez stressed that the new programs launched by Tamkeen have received a significant surge in interest from businessman and companies within the private sector. These programs include supporting employment and professional growth, as well as support for institutions. This collective effort aims to enhance the career progression of Bahraini cadres and ensure the sustained growth and expansion of local and international businesses in Bahrain.
She stated that the programs are geared towards integrating Bahraini companies into the labor market, offering incentives such as support for companies, increased minimum wage, and promoting the employment of Bahrainis in quality, sustainable positions.
