Nass highlighted the Arab-German Chamber's success in strengthening trade relations, as demonstrated by the participation of Arab ambassadors in the General Assembly meetings. A notable example is the attendance of the Ambassador of Bahrain to Germany, Abdullah Abdul Latif.
He extended his gratitude to Mr. Peter Ramsauer, Chairman of the Arab-German Chamber, for his ten-year tenure. Throughout his dedicated leadership, Mr. Ramsauer consistently fostered stronger Arab-German investments.
Nass, in his role as the Chairman of both the Arab Chamber Union and the Bahrain Chamber, expressed anticipation for Sheikh Khalifa bin Jasim, the current chairman of the Qatar Chamber, to take on the role of first vice-chairman to the chairman of the Arab-German Chamber. He also noted that Khalil Al-Hajj, currently serving as chairman of the Jordan Chamber, would take up the position of third vice-chamber.
He hailed Bahrain's efforts in bolstering ties with Germany across trade, industrial, and investment sectors, highlighting the pivotal role of Bahraini businessmen in fostering trade and investment, particularly in healthcare, education, and renewable energy sectors. He advocated for the support and encouragement of German entrepreneurs and industries to invest in Bahrain, stressing the role of the Arab-German Chamber in promoting investment opportunities and supporting the private sector in the Arab region, specifically in Bahrain. He also called fostering the cultivation of a knowledgeable and scientifically adept generation and exploring investment opportunities in Arab and African countries through the formation of a strategic alliance.
Nass announced Bahrain Chamber's aim to host the Arab-European Chamber's headquarters, aiming to support foreign investments and strengthen trade ties with the European Union. This aligns with Bahrain's influential role in leading the Arab Chamber Union and representing Arab and Bahraini private sectors internationally and regionally.
For his part, the newly appointed Chairman of the Arab-German Chamber, Olaf Hoffman, stressed the importance of fostering Arab-German trade relations to serve the aspirations of the Arab region, ensuring that such efforts contribute to the economic development.
For his part, Head of Foreign Trade and Member of the Executive Board of the Arab- German Chamber, Dr. Volker Treier, confirmed that Arab-German trade relations are recording significant annual growth and are in much better condition than German trade relations with other countries.
For his part, Secretary General of the Arab-German Chamber, Abdulaziz Al-Mikhlafi stated that Arab investments in Germany are estimated at 100 billion euros in the automotive, logistics, and energy sectors. Additionally, over 70,000 Arab students are enrolled in German universities, representing a significant knowledge asset for their home countries and a promising sign for the future of Arab-German relations.
For his part, Ambassador of Lebanon to Germany, Mustafa Adib affirmed that the Arab Ambassadors Council supports nominations for the Board of Directors of the Arab-German Chamber and works hand in hand with businessmen to achieve significant trade rates between Arab countries and Germany.
