In its first edition "Jadara Award” consists of five categories. The first on customer loyalty, encompassing the practices implemented by businesses to earn and maintain customer loyalty. The second category revolves around capacity building, emphasizing the business strategy to develop and enhance the capabilities of its members. The third category is about reliability and trust, including practices that enhance trust and reliability in the provision of services and products. The fourth is dedicated to digital transformation, encompassing practices related to digital and electronic transformation and the use of artificial intelligence to enhance services and work mechanisms. The fifth category is for innovation and quality of food products, recognizing practices that have achieved excellence and quality in food products.
In this regard, vice-treasurer, head of the committees steering group Waleed Kanoo, affirmed that the award aims to encourage Bahraini companies to enhance their performance, competitiveness, and growth. It also aims to promote the quality of production and services. He explained that registration is open to all small and medium-sized companies from various local commercial and industrial sectors, adding that the general qualification criteria include having an active Commercial Registration (C.R), presence in the market for more than three years, and positive financial results for the past three years.
It is worth noting that companies may submit entries in multiple categories, and the award includes financial prizes for the winners. Companies that wish to participate, may complete the registration form on https://www.bahrainchamber.bh before February 10th, 2024.
